Since I enjoy getting advice from my friends and complete strangers that happen to stumble upon this blog, here is another question:
Am I making a big mistake by not going to Zurich and deciding on staying in the US, moving to Dana Point on the beach, going back to school to get my MBA, and moving in with Ben?

Who needs a fuckin' MBA when you can rule the world from Switzerland? You will be so bored in that class, but it will allow you to do other things outside of insurance. I am against roommates, unless there are benefits. Are you going AC/DC? Finally, the West coast is for hippies and liberals, you are neither SO come back to reality and head East young man-head EAST. Better schools here anyway. Chicks are less into themselves and more into you. Gotta trust your instincts-they are good. Would like to see you split rent and save $$$ for the big moneymaker-real estate. Time to OWN
Easy for you to say in the hot real estate market in Pitt and WV. I live in the second most expensive area in the country (LA County) and will be moving to the fifth most expensive housing market. I can own, but I'll have to live out in the desert.
Why are you getting a roommate? I don't understand that part.
Move to the midwest so you can buy a house for the same monthly payment that you are spending now. Better yet, why don't you move the your favorite town of Washington, PA - you could buy the whole town!
Is Derek correct? Is Slammer from the Pitt/WV area?
If so, then Slammer's comment of:
"Chicks are less into themselves and more into you"
takes on a different meaning. Those chicks from Pitt/WV are just into you because they're looking for someone to split the gas money as the drive to Chicago to be a guest on the next Jerry Springer/ Maury Povich show.
Sirs, (slammer and EZ)
Roommate is to cut cost to pay for Grad School. I'm not smart enough to get a full ride.
I don't want to live in the MW or PA. It is ugly, depressing, boring, ugly, flat, has terrible weather, and ugly.
Maybe its just me, but we live only one life, and I'm not going to spend it in a place that just plain sucks. You can't compare where I live to where you live and convince me otherwise. It says a lot about the place you live in is where other people go to vacation at. I will be living on the beach and a golf course, in a town that is filled with amazing women, and is newer and cleaner than 99.9% of the cities in the US. I will sacrifice not owning a place for the continued opportunity to live here.
