World Series of Poker

Has anyone watched the main event over the weekend? I'm sure that I'm watching a repeat since the tournament was like 5 months ago, but they have this guy that plays with his feet. He only has one arm and it is cripple, so he has learned to look at his cards with he freaking feet. What the F????? It was so disturbing that I had to fast forward it everytime he was on. And on a side note I'm beginning to love Phil Hellmuth. Too bad that I'm just about fed up with both playing and watching poker.

Saw it, and those feet couldn't be clean...yuck. Phil Helmuth is hilarious. Although he is usually correct on what he says (like when he told that guy next to him that he did not lose on a bad beat because he was already behind on the hand once the money was out there), he still complains when other people catch cards (ie Playing at a table with the worst card players ever). Hilarious.

I hate the unibomber, but love Jennifer Tilly.

His best line was "I bet you can't even spell poker."

feet were atrocious. if i were at his table, i think i'd take out my dick and piss on him. at leat that way. one of us would be forced to leave and i wouldn't have to be witness to his corn nasty feet touching my cards/chips.

and i think i've always liked the poker brat. he's a baby for the sake of it. i wholeheartedly admit that there's a skill to the game, but luck is involved as well. he just refuses to acknowledge that and seeing him get frustrated is like watching jon destroy his best yankee hat ever over a mid-summer loss of an early 90's horrible yankee team.

Speaking of Jon, how about when he buried that wiffle ball bat into the ground after a strikeout.

That was priceless.

You know, I have to comment on this.

Stop sucking on Hellmuth's popsicle. It's clear that he - and some others - are not as good as advertised.

This is like an NFL game - adjustments are a crucial part of the game. He can play the tournament when it's just 600 "experts"......but when the game changes and now it's 6000 amateurs, he can't make the adjustments.

What is Phil whining about? That he can read the great Doyle Brunson but can't read someone like Eric Zahn? Is that the argument he is making?

It seems (yes, I know the telecasts are edited) that Howard Lederer can make the adjustment - why oh why can't the "great" Phil Hellmuth??

I saw that my boy Humberto got 2nd in the WPT last night. I still don't know why I'm strangely attracted to him.

Oh Eric, come on. Nobody has said that he is the best. I just enjoy his blow ups. And he is pissed about losing to these hacks since they are putting all their money into the pot when they are a 10-20% favorite to win. I mean this last time he had AK and the other guy had K5, and he pulled a 5 on the turn to win. He just has the balls to call the guy out right there and bitch at him, which is why I like him.

And Sir, can you please pay attention to what show you are watching. That Humberto show last night was from one year ago, and Howard Lederer hasn't won anything in about 2-3 years.

Derek, are you sure? They said this was from the 3rd season - I thought this was the 3rd season. Oh well.

So the K5 guy got lucky and misread Phil - too bad. Take your beatings like a man.

This is coming from a guy that is known for making comments to opposing golfers and their caddies during amateur tournaments. Actually, your also known to make comments to your own caddie when things are going bad. And I won't even go into the things you say to fellow blackjack players that are going against "the book" and messing up the shoe. You make Bill Parcells seem calm compared to some of your reactions and comments over the last couple of years in Vegas. Take your beating like a man....HA.
