TX update

So Farmers dodged a huge bullet yesterday with the storm moving east and hitting mainly Beaumont and Port Charles. With that, I got to spend some additional time in Dallas. What a great little city. Changes my opinion of Texas, after only seeing Houston and South Padre Island. The only bad thing about Dallas is that it seems as if every highway is a toll road. Just doesn't make sense. Went to a Greek Food Festival, which was pretty good, and let me tell you that the Greek women are vastly under-rated in the looks category. Not only can they cook some great lamb and spinach shit, they also are extremely attractive and a lot less hairy than I remember.

Anyway, just wanted to ask two music questions;
  • Will we look back on the Black Eye Peas two-three years from now and consider them the Stereo MCs of our time? There music, while entertaining in a cheesy boy band type way, just doesn't seem like it will last.
  • Has anyone heard the new Kayne West song? I really like it, but I'm the same guy that liked "Bye Bye Bye' by Nsync when it came out.

re: music. don't funk with the BEPs. they're the greatest thing to happen to music since the crash test dummies.

i'm really into the kanye west song as well. i grabbed it on iTunes the other day under the charade that its for suzanne's running mix on our iPod.
