Mock bracket coming soon.
1) Here is an actual conversation between two guys at a poker game I went to Friday night:
Guy 1: "Did you go to the casino last weekend?"
Guy 2: " Yeah, we went to Grand Victoria on Friday" (note: Grand Victoria is a smaller casino in Cincinnati, further away than the more popular Argosy)
Guy 1: "Why did you go all the way down there?"
Guy 2: "Well, my mother-in-law wanted to see the Sha Na Na concert at Grand Vic that night."
I was speechless for about 5 minutes. You could take that conversation in so many directions.
2) Here is a time waster for you:
a website that lists the #1 song for any date in history
Mine isn't bad: "American Pie", by Don McLean.
My wife - who hates all Neil Diamond albums, is cursed with "Cracklin Rosie" by Mr. Diamond himself. Hilarious.
Derek's song is mildly ironic.
I found this on the Browns' board, where there was a history of the users/posters posting the #1 song on the day they were born. One poster listed "Vision of Love" from Mariah Carey as his song. WTF? He's like 14!
Post your "birth songs" in the comments.

01/27/1978 ... "Baby Come Back" by Player
This reminds me of hearing on the AM on Saturday that Heywood Jablowme of Minnesota was awared $10,000 in iTunes music for downloading the 1B song, "Speed of Sound" by Coldplay.
Ironic the 1B download is a band that has been in Apple commercials. I would have loved if the 1B song was something atrocious, along the lines of 'Love is A Battlefield', or 'Smooth Up In Ya' by Great White.
Freddie's song is Always on Time by Ashanti and JRule? Poor guy.
And what do you mean that my song is mildly ironic?
"Before the Next Teardrop Falls" by Freddy Fender.
I wish I was born in the 90s.
1999 ... "Livin' La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin
1997 ... "MMMBop" by Hanson
1996 ... "Tha Crossroads" by Bone thugs-n-harmony
1995 ... "This Is How We Do It" by Montell Jordan
1994 ... "I Swear" by All-4-One
1992 ... "Jump" by Kris Kross
"Poor Side of Town" by Johnny Rivers.
Have I ever heard this?
