- I'm so torn on where to stand on this port security thing. Isn't this a topic of racial profiling, and if so then why is it OK to profile against a country and not their people?

Been crazy busy this week with the parents in town and a packed schedule at work. Ugh. Two questions though...

I was going to write about the port thing but you beat me to it.
What a tough call. If you are against it, what are you truly saying? That you are prejudiced? And then you better be for racial profiling.
And if you are for it? Well, 2 of the 9/11 hijackers were from UAE and financed by banks in the UAE. It seems very easy that something similar may occur.....
I don't know. I just feel uneasy about it.
But I think we all can agree on one thing - what a political blunder by Bush. In an election year, he does this? Geesh.
I have 2-week contacts that are slightly larger than normal. When I was told I was getting larger contacts, all I could think of is Mike from Monsters Inc. putting in his one contact.
I use focus dailies. They are OK. I wear them two or three times a week. I couldn't wear contacts or glasses fulltime, so they seem to work for a good balance.
