Is the date Feb 18, 2001 going to be a date that will live in infamy for sports fans? This, of course, was the day that Dale Earnhardt died at Daytona.

Just a question - is Freddie going to be saddled with this date for the rest of his life? Like being born on Aug 12, 1994 (baseball strike), Apr 5, 1974 (Aaron's 715) or Dec 31, 1971 (Clemente's death)?
