For those of you in California, please watch Derek today to make sure he doesn't kill himself.
As you know, Derek is a HUGE baseball fan and subscribes to Extra Innings on Cable.
Also you may know that Derek WILL NOT subscribe to DirecTV out of some principle he has. He got screwed over, apparently, 5-6 years ago.
Well now - today's news that MLB is set to annouce that the rights to ExtraInnings will be given to DirecTV (like the NFL Sunday Ticket) has got to hit him hard.
When are you getting that dish, Derek? February? March?

Not only do I hate Direct TV with a passion, the cable company also has me by the balls now with their phone, cable, and internet bundle.
I'm not too sure right now what I'm going to do.
You could sign up for MLB.COM and watch on a PC. It sucks, but if you really wanted to avoid DirecTV that is your only out of market option.
Yeah, that's what Eric and I were discussing. Purchase one of those large monitors? Maybe.
Direct TV has improved since the townhouse days, I promise. They sucked back then, but they only kind of suck now. Try to hook it up again, Carol will LOVE the sparkling clean floors!!
