I'm going to regret this

OK, so I'll get to apologize to Eric in person on Saturday for this, but below is the Overview of the Browns-Bears preseason game tonight on the Orange Report blog site. Browns vs Bears, Griese vs Dorsey, feel the intensity.

Overview
This is an excellent game to watch as a pure fan of the sport. The Bears have not finished off the preseason with a victory since 1994, while the Browns are looking to end the preseason on a three game winning streak. Players understand their careers are on the line and the intensity level just seems to be cracked up another level. It may only be the backups playing but it gives both teams a chance to evaluate their depth. This is vital for two teams that believe they will be playing in January, when that depth will be tested.

So let me get this straight. The first line tells it all doesn't it? And this guy thinks that the Browns will be playing in the playoffs? WOW!!! I know that they need to be excited about the last preseason game, but this is over the top.

Let's go over line by line, shall we?

Line 1 - totally correct. Read on.
Line 2 - completely meaningless.
Line 3 - this is the purpose for line 1. The second half is where the real football will be played. Suggs & Green playing for their roster spot. Dorsey/Anderson trying to be 2nd string - and avoid getting cut when the Browns sign a veteran. Players fighting for starting roles - like your boy DQ. He may or may not start (withMr. West Texas A&M the other option), and the decision will be made here.
Line 4- completely true.
Line 5 - maybe a little bit of hyperbole, but hey - you used "Browns" and Playoffs in the same sentence in your AFC preview, right?

I will save this and show this to you later this year. I thought the guys who wagered on the all star game on the pro bowl were bad. But you take the cake. You defend the guy who is talking about a browns bears preseason game (I'm not even talking about regular season) as the must see event for all sports fans. AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS IS BEYOND CRAZY!!!!!!!!!
