The 9th time is the charm?

Just for reference, this year's Cavs makes it 9 - yes, 9 - Cleveland teams to make the final four in their sport in my lifetime:

1975-76 Cavaliers - the Miracle of Richfield team

1986 Browns

1987 Browns

1989 Browns

1991-92 Cavaliers

1995 Indians

1997 Indians

1998 Indians

and now, the 2006-07 Cavaliers.

Only 2 of those teams above made it to the finals. Can LeBron and co. make it 3? I'm encouraged by the game last night, even though it was a loss. I found it to be an enthralling game, unlike the Nets series.

(By the way- the more I learn about that Miracle of Richfield team, the more I wish I was old enough to remember it. Many fans have said those playoff games were the loudest they have ever heard a Cleveland sports crowd - Browns games included. I remember that coliseum - a tribute to the 70s....)
