The 1986 Masters and the NBA

Just remember....

in the 1986 Masters, when Jack shot a final round 30 to win by one.....

Jack actually had a bogey on that back nine (#12). Jack admitted that a silly bogey there gave him the kick in the ass he needed to keep the round going.
Let's hope tonight was the bogey on #12 that kicks the Cavs in the pants.

(Trivia, by the way: How many people finished second in that Masters, and who were they? No peeking.....)

I want to say that Greg Norman was in contention that year, although I'm not sure if he finished second.

Also, I think that was the year that Nick Price shot 63 in the final round which may still be the course record.

So I'm going to say 2 - Greg Norman and Nick Price.

Trivia answer:

Everyone remembers Norman's shot right into the gallery, and Ballesteros' choke on 15, and even Pavin's water ball on 16...

but it was Tom Kite who had a 8' putt on 18 to tie... and he ran it over the lip.

Norman and Kite finished 1 back of Nicklaus.
