At the Vineyard Classic a few weeks ago, I sank a 30 foot putt on #9. Luckily, that was the hole that had a "Longest Putt" contest. I ended up winning!
The course called today: I won tickets at Riverbend- the local concert venue! My choices:
- Blink 182, or
- Comedy with Kathy Griffin

Neither one is something that I would go to, so it becomes a question of which one commands the highest price on eBay/StubHub/Craigslist. Depends on where the tickets are for either 'event', but a quick eBay search on both events in Cincinnati says that they are about equal(ly shitty).
You know, the resale option never even crossed my mind. To me, the Blink 182 tickets HAS to have a higher resale value that Ms. D List, no?
I think you are underestimating both. If you put the tickets up on Craigs list for less than face value, you should be able to get rid of both pretty quick and easy.
But if I had to go to one, it would be Blink 182. Carol watches Kathy all the time and while she is pretty funny on her show her stand up pretty much sucks.
I think the Vineyard Classic spent $1.46 on your "prize".
THE Obvious choice is Blink 182.

Ugh - neither sound appealing. The only thing that sounds less appealing is if the only way i could select a new prize was to reach into a gameshow hosts pocket.
