Fashion Question

So today, I see someone walking down our hallway in blue jeans....and a formal dark blue blazer.

Quick poll: Is this fashionable or douchy? I say douchy, but most of you know my taste in fashion lacks a lot.

Fuck the South for starting such a douchy trend. I think this is now the uniform for 90% of the students at the SEC schools. Its almost as bad as pleats. If an a-hole sits down next to me at a BJ table wearing this uni, I will get up. Only bad things can happen. Did Lee's sisters boyfriend wear one of these things? And why do I have a bad feeling that I just offended Don and Mike and now they won't talk to me out in Vegas.

No offense taken here. At least I know another method of creating space at the BJ table.

So, how formal was the jacket? I could see a blazer of some sort matching with a pair of jeans, but certainly not a formal blazer that would be paired with a matching pair of pants to form a suit (which I believe I only wear to weddings and funerals at this point in my life).

If your not willing to step it up with the pants then why even bother going with a blazer? I just don't get it. Are people trying to be too cool for school saying Yeah I'm lazy with the jeans, but I'm tryng with the blazer??? Throw on some slacks with the blazer or bring it with a suit. I just hate it.

Where is all of this anger coming from??? Oh I know, did I tell you guys how I lost during last week's fantasy football game?

Blazer and jeans? Meh whatever. I don't pay too much attention to that stuff. At the bj table I would take the Rounders approach and " let the cards be the judge" of the douch-level (the douchible level??)

Like everything else, it depends on the person. You can be a douche with a blazer, a tight Ed Hardy t-shirt, and fancy jeans or you can pull it off in a relatively understated way.

That being said, I'm going out and buying 5 blazers--one to wear every day in Vegas--and I'm going to follow Layup around all weekend.
