Heading to the WBC game today. When Austin and I bought tickets, we thought that we would be able to see the US vs. Japan, since we bought tickets for the 1st place teams in each pool. Instead we get to see S. Korea vs Mexico, since the US lost to freaking Canada. Who really cares though, since I'm now starting to crave baseball. And just nailed tickets to the championship game in San Diego next monday. I know that Eric is going bezerk over college BB, but seriously Eric, give it up. Your terrible at picking games this year and your confidence is shot. Start concentrating on the Tribe and your wonderful Browns FA. Oh, and the Ravens just signed Pryce? Hmmm. Sort of dwarfs the Browns signings don't you think?

Regarding my College BB picks.. yes, they have stunk lately. But it is hard to pick well when you are picking games in a 10 minute window while trying to get breakfast on the table, or picking games while on the throne late at night.
At Vegas, I will have done my homework and will be able to study each team a whole lot better. This worked in 2003, when I did very well on Thu and Fri; I didn't do the matchup analysis for Sat and got killed. I then distinctly remember sitting in the Monte Carlo sportsbook late that Saturday night studying the games for Sun; I went 6-2, I think, that Sunday.
The lesson? Do your homework. Period.
Now I need to find material for each team. If anyone comes across a good site - free or pay - that gives the summaries/capsules on each team, let me know.

If there is a Money Line on the Oklahoma Sooners Woman's game Saturday...take it, put the vacation on it. Now there is a chance their won't be a money line.
