Dirty Gringos

On my way in today to work, what did I see flying from the overpasses on the 405? That's right, Mexican flags. Ugh. The apathy of the politicians in this state, as well as in this country is terrible. If Ben or I were smart, we should run for office solely on Illegal immigration and Gas Prices and we could probably win. Anyone want to donate?

Had a very active weekend. Played in a company softball tournament on Saturday. Got to the championship game and lost. Not too shabby since our team had never practiced and comprised of some really bad players. We lost to the office next to us who actually had try outs and 3 full practices. Then played football up in Santa Monica on Sunday. Full contact tackle on the beach. I'm not hurting as bad as the first time we played last month, but I have some really ugly bruises on my arm and foot. I have lost all of my moves though, but with the added weight I'm still able to bowl people over. Too much fun.

Had another three girls crying in my office late last week. The one girl was all upset because she is 24 years old and is scheduled to get married in 3 weeks and she wants out of the relationship. She actually said that she went out on a date with a Mighty Duck last week. Ummm. How can you go out on a date when you are engaged. Folks, this is not going to turn out well. I'm guaranteeing that the soon to be ex will be making an appearance in the office in May. Stay tuned.

Ben might be unemployed soon. He states that he and his boys will be making sweeps in the San Clemente area today. Watch the evening news tonight to see 4-5 frustrated Border Patrol Agents running their crusiers through a crowd of protesters. Should be entertaining.

So, there's all these illegal immigrants protesting for amnesty today. Here's the thing. Currently, they're all here ILLEGALLY. Why can't we just round those bastards up at the protest and ship them home?

Oh sure, they have every right to protest peacefully, but they don't have any right to be here without legal immigrant status. Since they've gone to the trouble of gathering in one place for our law enforcement personnel, why not just scoop them up now? If that doesn't stop some of the immigration I'd bet it does a good job of putting a stop to their protesting.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not against people immigrating to the U.S. I'm just against them coming over here illegally and then complaining because we won't give them amnesty and let them stay. If you want to come in, be my guest. Just do it the right way and get permission first.

To hear everyone state that our border patrol can't round up 11 million illegals is crazy, when you have rallies like this.

They need to redraw the borders, and give Mexico everything from Portland to Denver to Dallas, even the great Gadsden purchase, but the US should buy Mexico City, and let all our Hollywood stars build it into a kind of glass future city oasis with wifi enabled babies, starbucks mocha rivers (not the kind they have in mexico now), a porsche cayenne in every garage, and winged elisha cuthbert clones who deliver playstation 4's from the sky. This way when say 1/3 of the former US is in a major economic crisis, and Billy Bush and his stupid little coiffed head is reporting about all the hotspots in Mexico City, people will start asking the really important questions, like is it the climate, is it the infrastructure, or was Jennifer Aniston born to be an Aztec princess or what?

Because you have the leaders of the movement saying "these people are not illegal - how can anyone call any human beings illegal?"

And the media fell for it - they called May 1 the "Life Without Immigrants" day (showing how our society would be different without the protestors). Somehow, if my grandpa was still alive, he wouldn't be joining that parade.

I've also heard from a couple of sites that the traffic in LA on Monday was great. Derek - any confirmation? If life without immigrants meant unclogged highways, wouldn't more citizens be for it?

I think they (the protestors) are shooting themselves in the foot on this one.

Traffic was a dream. But in all fairness, this was mainly due to half the businesses in the LA closing down for the day, so it wasn't all due to the illegals not being on the road.
