Just a word of advice:
If you need to get a passport for your child, get the passport before the kid is 9 months old; or else wait until the kid is 3.
Trying to get a passport photo - which requires the child to be still, leaning back up against a background - is damn near impossible when the kid is 18 months old.

Done and done. At the ripe old age of just under 4 months. Only snag was when the postal employee told Jon to put little Johnny on the chair so he could pose for his picture...really?!?
